Stefanos Tsialis conducted the large apparatus of the Athens State Orchestra with eight cellos, six double basses and a full string and wind section with the highest level of commitment as well as a good eye for the individual groups, so that a very transparent sound image was created and the good acoustics of the hall with its four large sound bridges were also evident. One could tell that the musicians were very enthusiastic about their work, as it was their wish to play Wagner once again. Apparently, they also rehearsed very well. Tsialis knew how to lead the singers very well and to effectively involve the horn group in the off-stage right at the beginning. This concertante "Tristan" raised hope that more Wagner will soon be heard here. This was also evident from the applause of the numerous audience.
